I have been working and studying for many years with a group of researchers in France on Arnold Mindell's concept of Deep Democracy. Arnold Mindell wrote a book called Sitting in the Fire where the principle as a facilitator is to be able to sit in the fire without burning yourself and without adding fuel to it. Another aspect of his work is around the fact that abuses are creating terrorism and that unconsciousness of your privileges can create conflicts.

Course Outline:

This course is specifically designed to help people to see the way conflicts work and how they can deal with it in a different way. Conflicts are extremely damaging for business if not dealt with but can be an opportunity to adjust and grow if responsibly dealt with. For conflicts to occur, you need at least 2 people. What ever you believe about whose fault it is, you have a responsibility in what happens, which is good news; because it means that you have power to change the situation. The understanding of the process will help delegates to put in place new reflexes to step out of a blocked position.
